New York, NY – October 14, 2025 – Axar Capital (“Axar” or “the Firm”), an opportunistic credit investor focused on the US middle market, today announced the appointment of Clayton Stoker and Matt Decker as Senior Analyst and Analyst, respectively. Mr. Stoker and Mr. Decker join Axar’s investment team, where they will help the Firm capitalize on the growing opportunity in opportunistic credit markets.

Mr. Stoker joins Axar as a Senior Analyst on the investment team. Prior to Axar, he was an investment professional at Apollo Global Management, where he focused on public and private corporate credit investments. Previously, he worked in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey and at M3 Partners. Mr. Stoker graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Mr. Decker joins Axar as an Analyst on the investment team. Before joining Axar, he was an Associate in the Debt Advisory & Restructuring group at Jefferies. Mr. Decker graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Computer Science.
